Each year, usually during the first or second weekend in December, MELA holds its annual conference, welcoming its members and potential new members to get together for continuing legal education presentations over a two day period. Past presenters have included representatives of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Maryland Commission on Human Relations, federal and state court judges, arbitrators and mediators and prominent attorneys practicing in the area of Labor and Employment Law from Maryland and throughout the country. During our annual conference, we also elect our officers, directors and board members and honor those who have served in those roles the previous year.
